Tenant gone; rental furniture stolen from duplex

A burglary on the west side of Des Moines involved rental furniture but none of the former tenant’s property.
Police said property owned by Christine Hogate was removed from a duplex in the 1500 block of Beaver Avenue this week. All that was left was furniture owned by Aaron’s Rental and it has been stolen.
There were no signs of forced entry to the rental property, police said. They have no suspects. Among the missing furniture is a sofa, a love seat, two coffee tables and a lamp.
