Casual Living,
After months of effort, the team at Evergreen Enterprises will cut the ribbon on its new Atlanta showroom on July 13 at 11 a.m. The 9,600-sq.-ft. space, located at 1700 in Building Two, will host artist signings, demonstrations of an Online Resource Center and a WiFi Internet cafe serving free Starbucks coffee to retailers.
In addition to the Evergreen and Cypress Home lines, the showroom is presenting the new Evergreen Outdoor Living Collection, shown exclusively this summer in Atlanta.
“We have a solid foundation of winning design and the right product mix,†Evergreen owner Frank Qiu said, “and now we have made a substantial investment to take the next step forward.â€
One of those steps forward is the Online Resource Center, launched in March 2014, exclusively for Evergreen retailers. Visitors to the showroom can see a demonstration of the system that allows registered retailers to place orders with Evergreen, check a shipment¹s status, track purchase orders, see invoices and receive special offers from any Internet-enabled computer. Retailers can register on the spot in Atlanta to access the Online Resource Center.
“Buyers have been asking for this kind of on-line convenience,†said John Toler, Evergreen’s vice president of sales, “and we are happy to debut this new solution. The Southeast will see it first hand at the Atlanta Summer Market and we’ll be showing it to independent retailers across the country.â€
The opening weekend festivities continue with a Grand Opening party July 13 at 6 p.m. The event, featuring food, drinks and live music, is open to everyone. On Saturday, the Evergreen showroom hosts artist and product designer Jim Shore from 2-4 p.m. Attendees can bring items for Shore to sign, or he will sign a complimentary flag featuring one of his original designs.
