The Birmingham Business Journal reported that, “Outdoor furniture manufacturer Meadowcraft Inc. will consolidate its two wrought iron furniture manufacturing plants into one facility in Wadley in 2015.
“Meadowcraft’s Birmingham facility will no longer produce wrought iron furniture but its 220 employees will be offered employment opportunities at the Wadley plant and the cushions and umbrellas plant in Selma, according to Meadowcraft President Jerry Camp. The Birmingham facility will serve as the company’s customer service and administrative hub.”
