What is American Style interior design? American Style (or American Classic) is an update of the classic European style. The character of this style is simpler, does not use much carving, minimal details and is identical to the use of calm colors that comfortable to see. Means, the roof used usually looks stacked because of its upper space as a warehouse or sleeping area to save space. Likewise with the pillar design which tends to be uncomplicated. Generally, the pillars are only box-shaped with a slight curved accent at the top that approaches the ceiling. Some of the floor styles in this design that often used are symmetrical or straight with horizontal or vertical line motifs on materials such as marble or stone.
