Boca Raton: City to spend $79,986 on new furniture, workstations

The City Council agreed to spend $79,986 with Workscapes South LLC of Fort Lauderdale to replace 20-year-old furniture in the police department’s family services and investigations divisions.

Replacing the furniture is part of a renovation project that calls for a new layout and design to make the work areas more efficient, city officials said. Workstations will be added. The city is buying the furniture through a contract the company has with the state.
