Herman Miller, Smart Modular and Digital River Decline; ESpeed Rallies on Court Ruling

NEW YORK (AP) – Shares of Herman Miller Inc. dropped in Wednesday’s aftermarket trading session, after the furniture maker forecast a first-quarter profit below Wall Street expectations.

Separately, Herman Miller reported a higher fiscal fourth-quarter profit that beat Wall Street expectations on strong sales.


But the company said it saw a “high degree of variability” in the rate of orders during the quarter.
