{"id":1074,"date":"2013-06-29T09:24:21","date_gmt":"2013-06-29T03:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2013\/06\/29\/furniture-buyers-file-complaints-after-high-point-business-closes\/"},"modified":"2013-06-29T09:24:21","modified_gmt":"2013-06-29T03:54:21","slug":"furniture-buyers-file-complaints-after-high-point-business-closes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/furniture-buyers-file-complaints-after-high-point-business-closes\/","title":{"rendered":"Furniture Buyers File Complaints After High Point Business Closes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RALEIGH, N.C. &#8212; The state attorney general&#8217;s office says that some consumers left without furniture after a High Point business closed should file complaints with the state.<br \/>\n   <!--adsense--><br \/>\n       <!--more--><br \/>\nSo far the state has 21 complaints against Wood Armfield Furniture Co., which went out of business earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>The company is in the process of filing for bankruptcy, said Noelle Talley with the state attorney general&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>State officials recommend that those who paid by credit card should dispute that charge with the credit card company, Talley said.<\/p>\n<p>Those who paid by check or cash should file complaints with the state, Talley said.<\/p>\n<p>There are customers across the country who are trying to get their furniture, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The store opened in 1939 as a small furniture retailer located in downtown High Point.<\/p>\n<p>As of Wednesday, the company&#8217;s Web site was still operating and made no mention of financial problems or closure.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2013 by WRAL.com.
