\nNew Castle,\u00c2\u00a0 Del.-based Furniture Barn is the latest juvenile retailer to feature a La-Z-Boy Kidz gallery.

\nThe May grand opening celebrated the nearly 2,000-square-foot gallery featuring\u00c2\u00a0 kids furniture, top-of-bed items and accessories from La-Z-Boy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s youth company, Lea Inds.

\n\u00c2\u00a0 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We\u00c2\u00a0 are very excited to be a part of the La-Z-Boy Kid\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s family,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said owner David\u00c2\u00a0 Barnes. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The La-Z-Boy brand is so strong and so well known, and it is the perfect\u00c2\u00a0 brand for children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s furniture where mothers want to buy a product from a\u00c2\u00a0 company they really trust.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d

\nThe dedicated section features nine furniture groups as well as the La-Z-Boy Kidz\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00c2\u00a0 Room In A Box accessory program. It takes up about 10% of the store\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 20,000\u00c2\u00a0 square feet.<\/p>\n

Dave Everett, store general manager, said consumers have been highly complimentary\u00c2\u00a0 of both the gallery and the products. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We just couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be happier with the\u00c2\u00a0 response we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve received. This is going to be one of the best galleries we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve\u00c2\u00a0 done,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said. The store previously had Bassett and Broyhill galleries, but\u00c2\u00a0 doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t now.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The children are running from one area to another like they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re in a toy store,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said owner Pame Barnes. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The children and parents alike love the whole package.\u00c2\u00a0 Some consumers think they have to go somewhere else to furnish the room, but\u00c2\u00a0 now they can offer the comforters, lamps, mirrors, bookends and other items to fill out the room.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d
