\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The participation of Brazil in the Las Vegas market is very important, as manufacturers in this region are demonstrating some of the most trend-setting styles, and the country itself is a major player in the quality production of furniture exports,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Tim Branscome, director of international business development for the World Market Center.<\/p>\n
The United States is the main importer of Brazilian furniture, accounting for 40% of all the country\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s furniture exports and reaching nearly $1 billion in 2012, according to APEX-Brazil.<\/p>\n
Paulo Augusto Allemand, president of the Brazilian Contemporary Furniture & Home D\u00c3\u00a9cor Manufacturers Assn., or ABIMAD, believes participation in the Las Vegas market will add more value to the national product.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Brazilians want to participate in Las Vegas, which is gaining great recognition and is among the most important trade fairs nowadays,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It is another way to show the quality, functionality and identity of the Brazilian furniture for one of the most important markets in the world.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
Brazilian factories will be showing dining rooms, accent furniture, leather and fabric upholstery and home theater furniture at the market here.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, APEX-Brazil is opening distribution centers for the country\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s furniture in Miami, Frankfurt, Germany, and Lisbon, Portugal. Other, private warehouses\/showrooms also are being established in the U.S. market, one being Pampaexport\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s showroom in Atlanta.<\/p>\n
