The Swedish retail giant also has a Seattle-area store in Renton, Wash.<\/p>\n<p>Ikea Portland will include the retailer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s usual features, such as 50 room settings, three complete model homes, a supervised children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s play area and a 250-seat restaurant. Family-friendly features will include a Children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Ikea area in the showroom, baby care rooms, preferred parking and play areas throughout the store.<\/p>\n<p>Ikea has more than 235 stores in 34 countries, including 28 in the United States, where the company plans to open three to five stores a year.
