\nLa-Z-Boy Residential has appointed Tom Zwolan to the newly created position of director of consumer research. In this role, Zwolan will lead the company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s consumer

\nresearch efforts and will grow research as a core competency within the sales and marketing team. Zwolan will report directly to Jennifer Sievertsen, vice president of brand marketing, in this role.<\/p>\n

Zwolan joins La-Z-Boy with extensive experience in consumer research and marketing. Most recently he was senior vice president at Synovate Motoresearch, a large global marketing research firm. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience in consumer research through work at various automotive and business solutions companies. He was vice president of MORPACE International\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s automotive research group, and previously held sales and marketing positions with ADP, Inc. Zwolan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s career began at Ford Motor Company, where he spent 15 years in various sales, marketing, strategic planning and market research positions.<\/p>\n
Zwolan received his master\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Graduate School of Business and holds a bachelor of science in marketing from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.<\/p>\n
Zwolan will join the Monroe, Mich., office. He resides in Ann Arbor, Mich., with his wife, Terry, and their three children, Max, Sammy and Maddy.<\/p>\n
