{"id":1919,"date":"2013-09-13T07:58:45","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T02:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2013\/09\/13\/sears-holdings-extends-offer-for-sears-canada-shares\/"},"modified":"2013-09-13T07:58:45","modified_gmt":"2013-09-13T02:28:45","slug":"sears-holdings-extends-offer-for-sears-canada-shares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/sears-holdings-extends-offer-for-sears-canada-shares\/","title":{"rendered":"Sears Holdings extends offer for Sears Canada shares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8212; Furniture Today,<br \/>\nHOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Sears Holdings has extended its offer for all of the common shares of Sears Canada that it does not already own until Sept. 29.<br \/>\n                        <!--adsense--><br \/>\n\t\t <!--more--><br \/>\nSears Holding, which owns Sears, Roebuck &#038; Co. and Kmart in the United States, also will appear in Ontario Divisional Court on Sept. 18 to appeal a recent order by the Ontario Securities Commission that halted the company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bid to take Sears Canada private by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p> The OSC ruled that Sears Holdings\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 takeover offer failed to comply with Ontario securities laws and ordered it to prepare a new circular.
