\n has added Joyce Dinehart to its leadership team; Dinehart will serve as director of global sourcing, purchasing and logistics.<\/p>\n
Her primary responsibility according to Rick McKirahan, president: drive the growth and evolution of Norwalk\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s total supply chain efforts. And with over 20 years of experience in global sourcing, purchasing, customs brokerage, and logistics, McKirahan says Dinehart is \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the right person for the job.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Dinehart is only one of the additions made recently to Norwalk\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leadership team \u00e2\u20ac\u201c strategic personnel placements to prep the company for redirection in \u00e2\u20ac\u212207.<\/p>\n
In her position, Dinehart, who assumed her role with the company earlier this month, has taken control and ownership of all activities associated with sourcing, procurement, purchasing, customs brokerage and compliance, sourcing quality and inbound logistics for all raw materials and finished products (sourced and purchased).<\/p>\n
Combined, the purchasing team will work to ensure consistency in raw material and finished good quality, enhanced and more cost efficient import processes, and compliance with current import regulations and standards.<\/p>\n

Prior to Norwalk, Dinehart served as the Corporate Logistics Manager for North America at Bekaert Corporation, a global supplier of product with business units in 80 countries. Dinehart organized and managed Bekaert\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s global supply chain and Customs compliance program for their North American operations.<\/p>\n
Dinehart holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace and holds a Customs Broker License with Customs and Border Protection.<\/p>\n
