\nAT THE MARKET\u00c2\u00a0— Linon Home D\u00c3\u00a9cor Products is here with a lineup of new items, most of which were customer-driven.

\nNew products at the company’s showroom in the 220 Elm building, space 202, include three all-wood, ready-to-assemble bedroom suites from Asia, a grouping of all-wood, Brazilian-made home entertainment configurations and a collection of accent furniture featuring Asian tung wood.<\/p>\n
“We took our cue on these introductions from our customers,” said Linon President Jim Ziozis. He pointed to the new Moderna home entertainment collection.<\/p>\n
“Our customers told us that there are tons of items in this category priced between $79 and $299. They said there are plenty of items at the $2,000 and above price points. What they told us they wanted were products that could fill that vast void between those two extremes,” Ziozis said.<\/p>\n
The 14 items in the Moderna collection carry suggested retails of $199 to $499. The lineup includes plasma television stands with storage, tower piers and full-sized entertainment centers that can house television screens ranging from 50 to 64 inches.<\/p>\n
Pieces feature hollow-core construction, which makes them easy to move. However, all the stress points are solid wood for maximum stability.<\/p>\n
Linon’s new all-wood, RTA bedroom suites include the contemporary Newport, the Mission-inspired Carolina and the transitional Contempo. All are full collections with queen-sized beds ranging in price from $299 to $399 as well as case pieces, including chests, double dressers, armoires and nightstands, set to retail from $119 to $299.<\/p>\n
“We’ve had an incredible response not only from our mail-order and Internet retailers, but also from our mass-merchant customers who don’t typically have the ability to deliver case goods,” Ziozis said.<\/p>\n
The third major introduction, Woodland, is a group of small accent and storage furniture featuring tung wood from China. All the items are ready to assemble and carry suggested retail prices ranging from $99 to $149.
\nAnother new group, Dan-ni, includes dining pieces in low and high heights, and also accent pieces.<\/p>\n
Described as affordable luxe, the items feature metal hardware and metal accent strips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
