\nNorth Providence, RI, which will be given out to each elementary school student at the end of National Safety Week to use when they go out trick or treating on Halloween.<\/p>\n
Each year, the school covers several important safety topics during the week before Halloween. This year, bicycle safety, safety around strange animals, and wearing seat belts will be among the topics covered. At the beginning of the safety week, there is a family costume dance during which the basics of staying safe on Halloween are emphasized, including the necessity of walking through the streets with a light. The students will get their Bernie & Phyl\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mini flashlights at the end of the week so that they will have them for Halloween night.<\/p>\n
