\naccessories and home furnishings, will fill the last 800-square-feet of space at Two Congress Park Centre on Broadway in Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n
Franchised by Leanne Brisbin and Peter Hoesel of Saratoga Springs, the store will open later this fall in the space next to Chico’s, according to a press release.<\/p>\n
“We’ve traveled to shows and suppliers all over the United States and Canada to find complimentary and unusual fashions and products that aren’t currently available in Saratoga Springs and that we believe shoppers in this market will find appealing,” Brisbin said.<\/p>\n
Even though it’s a franchise, the owners said the store will have an ambiance very different from other Apricot Lane stores.<\/p>\n
The business was started by a former firefighter and furniture retailer who opened their first retail gift shop called Country Clutter in 1991 in Vacaville, Calif., according to the Apricot Lane Web site.<\/p>\n
The Apricot Lane concept was created in 2004. Today there are more than 55 Apricot Lane and Country Clutter stores in 27 states.<\/p>\n
Congress Park Centre is being developed by Brause Realty Inc. When finished, the six-acre project will consist of about 400,000 square feet of retail, office and residential space.
