\nIn-Store Gallery at Schneiderman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Furniture in Plymouth, Minn. The 4,000 sq. ft. gallery officially opened on November 1, 2013 and features six best-selling adult collections. Schneiderman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also dedicated ample floor space to teen brand Z Generation\u00c2\u00ae, including the popular Fuze Box\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 and Ariel lines.<\/p>\n
Susan Strong, the buyer at Schneiderman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s who oversaw the gallery installation along with store display and design manager Chad VanKekerix, likes the distinct style and feel of the new gallery, while still maintaining a diverse product offering. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Zocalo gallery area is very different from the rest of the store,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nice to pull everything together in one area, but still have lots of different looks within that environment.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
Particular praise about the new Zocalo Living Gallery was for the Hampton Library\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 and Echo Collections, for which sales have increased in the Midwest store since the install. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had a great response to Hampton Library from the start,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Strong of the Arts and Crafts-style group. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Sales are also up with Echo, especially in dining, because the bamboo is very unique. There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nothing out there like it.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
As for the youth lines, Strong is glad to find groups that appeal to the tween and teen crowd by avoiding overly \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cutesy\u00e2\u20ac\u009d looks. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Z Generation has added style and distinctiveness to our youth section. The groups have an edginess that really appeals to teens.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Fuze Box and Ariel are Z Generation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s top-selling youth lines.<\/p>\n
The Schneiderman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Zocalo Living Gallery carries almost half of Zocalo\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s collections, including Revelle\u00e2\u201e\u00a2, Hampton Library, Echo and Sterling Park\u00c2\u00ae. Metropolitan Leather\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 pieces are used throughout the gallery to complete the collection room settings.<\/p>\n
