{"id":3339,"date":"2014-02-22T07:29:14","date_gmt":"2014-02-22T01:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2014\/02\/22\/aaron%e2%80%99s-earnings-jump-30-in-fourth-quarter\/"},"modified":"2014-02-22T07:29:14","modified_gmt":"2014-02-22T01:59:14","slug":"aarons-earnings-jump-30-in-fourth-quarter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/aarons-earnings-jump-30-in-fourth-quarter\/","title":{"rendered":"Aaron\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s earnings jump 30% in fourth quarter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Furniture Today,<br \/>\nATLANTA \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Rent-to-own powerhouse Aaron Rents said                         <!--adsense--><br \/>\n\t\t <!--more--><br \/>\nfourth-quarter revenues jumped 14.8%, while net income rose more than 30%.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the growth came from its Aaron\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Sales and Lease Ownership division, whose fourth-quarter revenues were 17% above the fourth quarter of 2012.<\/p>\n<p> Aaron\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, which operated 1,345 company-owned and franchised stores at year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s end, had total revenues of $339.9 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with $296.2 million for the final quarter of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Net income totaled $19.04 million or 35 cents per share in the quarter, compared with $14.61 million or 29 cents per share in the same period in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>For the year, revenues were $1.33 billion, a 17.9% increase from 2012.
