{"id":3369,"date":"2014-02-26T10:41:28","date_gmt":"2014-02-26T05:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2014\/02\/26\/furniture-maker-to-open-thomasville-distribution-center\/"},"modified":"2014-02-26T10:41:28","modified_gmt":"2014-02-26T05:11:28","slug":"furniture-maker-to-open-thomasville-distribution-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/furniture-maker-to-open-thomasville-distribution-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Furniture maker to open Thomasville distribution center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zocalo, a San Francisco-based furniture designer and                         <!--adsense--><br \/>\n\t\t <!--more--><br \/>\nmanufacturer, will open a distribution center in Thomasville, according to an announcement.<\/p>\n<p> The company said the 33,000-square-foot warehouse may be expanded later to 55,000 square feet as demand for its products increases on the East Coast and in eastern Canada.<\/p>\n<p> Zocalo Vice President of Sales Duncan Elcombe said more of his company&#8217;s accounts are demanding more frequent deliveries of smaller quantities of product.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The North Carolina distribution center will allow us to dramatically improve our delivery times to our East Coast dealers,&#8221; Elcombe said.<\/p>\n<p> The company did not say when the new facility will open.
