\nGREENSBORO \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Lacquer Craft has opened a store here named Case & Cushion, which it says is dedicated to selling

\ncloseout and discontinued product from its Universal, Legacy Classic and Craftmaster brands.<\/p>\n
The 15,000-square-foot outlet store \u00e2\u20ac\u201d which also carries bedding \u00e2\u20ac\u201d opened March 3 in a shopping center anchored by a Costco. The center also has Rooms To Go Kids and Sofa Express stores, and a full Rooms To Go is across the street.<\/p>\n
Randy Chrisley, president and CEO of Universal Furniture, said the store was created to get rid of slow-moving, domestically warehoused product at full margins. He said local retailers were notified about the store, which he said respects the lines they carry and isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t intended to undercut pricing in the market.<\/p>\n
Chrisley said Lacquer Craft is not interested in opening a chain of retail stores based on the model.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not a Universal store or Legacy store, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just a name,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
