PLAINVILLE, Conn. — A worker at Plainville school

\n systems is accused of stealing furniture from a Manchester store.<\/p>\n
Jason Foxx, 28, a paraprofessional at Plainville Middle School, was arrested on larceny and burglary charges.<\/p>\n
Police said officers found Foxx attempting to load a stolen sofa chair from Basset Furniture into his car early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
“I thought I’d seen just about everything, but this was an unusual one,” said Sgt. Chris Davis of the Manchester Police Department.<\/p>\n
Police said Foxx confessed to attempting to steal the chair. Foxx, according to police, told investigators that he was trying to break into the Best Buy store in the same shopping plaza when he found the door to Basset Furniture unlocked. Foxx told police that when he opened the door, he found a chair inside and was loading it into his car when officers arrived, according to police.<\/p>\n
“He said that he was actually planning to break into the Best Buy store in the same shopping plaza, but he wasn’t sure how to do it. He thought he was going to get trapped inside the store,” Davis said.<\/p>\n
Plainville school officials told Eyewitness News that Foxx is a paraprofessional who works with special education students.<\/p>\n
