PULASKI, Va. \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Pulaski Furniture has promoted Dallas George to the new position of vice president of accents.

\nGeorge joined the company in early 2013 as a special task force member in charge of development for the company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s value-priced Keepsakes Home case goods line. He also developed a sales and distribution plan for the launch of the Build-A-Bear Workshop Home Collection.<\/p>\n
In November, he was named vice president of marketing.<\/p>\n
Before joining Pulaski, he was vice president of retail development at Lexington Home Brands, and worked in sales management during 20 years at Thomasville Furniture.<\/p>\n
He reports to Pulaski President Don Mitchell.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dallas has done an excellent job in the realignment and streamlining of our marketing functions. His expertise is now needed in the product area of our organization,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Mitchell.<\/p>\n
Janet McPeake, who has been with Pulaski 15 years and most recently was associate brand manager, will take over some of George\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s duties as marketing manager, a new position.
