{"id":4338,"date":"2014-07-03T08:22:38","date_gmt":"2014-07-03T02:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2014\/07\/03\/furniture-truck-ablaze-in-perimeter-collision\/"},"modified":"2014-07-03T08:22:38","modified_gmt":"2014-07-03T02:52:38","slug":"furniture-truck-ablaze-in-perimeter-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/furniture-truck-ablaze-in-perimeter-collision\/","title":{"rendered":"Furniture truck ablaze in Perimeter collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A freight truck carrying furniture was smouldering for several hours Sunday afternoon after it collided with\u00c2\u00a0another truck just east of McGillivray Boulevard on the Perimeter Highway near Winnipeg.<\/p>\n<p>The semi-trailer and a Ford F150 truck collided just before 1 p.m., a fire official said.<br \/>\n                        <!--adsense--><br \/>\n\t\t <!--more--><br \/>\n&#8220;As a result of the collision, a semi-trailer hauling a load of furniture burst into flames,&#8221; said Rick Vanderkerkhove, eastern operations manager with the provincial fire commissioner&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>Rachael Gossen, who works at a restaurant near the intersection, said she called 911 as patrons saw the incident unfold.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just seen a black truck being hit and a semi-truck flying, and then the whole field&#8217;s just lit up on fire,&#8221; Gossen said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Two people jumped out of the semi-truck, I believe, and I don&#8217;t know what happened with the truck.
