GREEN BAY, Wis. \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Universal Furniture\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Better Homes and Gardens collection is set to debut in furniture stores across the country, starting with Carson Pirie Scotts location here on July 28.

\nThe collection is a result of a collaborative effort between designers and craftsmen at Universal Furniture and the editors of Better Homes and Gardens, billed as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153America\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s largest home enthusiast magazine, with a circulation of 7.6 million and a readership of nearly 40 million.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Demand for the collection has been overwhelming,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Randy Chrisley, Universal president and CEO. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Better Home and Gardens delivers trust, appeal and quality \u00e2\u20ac\u201d three powerful ingredients that resonate with retailers and consumers alike.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
He said the rollout will be one of the largest in the industry\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s history, with hundreds of stores to feature the collection in the coming months.<\/p>\n
The signature collection was designed with involvement from the magazine\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s editors, who took cues from its readers.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The collection provides classic, multi-functional and affordable furniture designed to meet the lifestyle needs of the Better Homes and Gardens woman,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Universal said in a release.<\/p>\n
Carson Pirie Scott\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s kick-off celebration in Green Bay July 28 will include a live radio remote, a book-signing with the magazine\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s editor-in-chief, Gayle Goodson Butler, as well as a Better Homes and Gardens \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Test Kitchen Taster\u00e2\u20ac\u009d sweepstakes.

\n The event also includes an interactive presentation from Beverly Rivers, founding editor of the magazine\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Creative Collection of 40 newsstand magazines, which will show consumers how to use pieces from the new collection to put together an eclectic room.<\/p>\n
