\nHIGH POINT \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Midpriced upholstery manufacturer Craftmaster Furniture is moving to a much larger market showroom here alongside its sister company Universal Furniture, at 2622 Uwharrie Road.<\/p>\n
Craftmaster, which showed in 14,000 square feet in the Furniture Plaza building for years, was acquired last year by China-based Lacquer Craft, which also owns Universal and Legacy Classic.

\n Now the company will share 35,000 square feet of space dedicated to upholstery from the Craftmaster Furniture, Better Homes & Gardens and Universal Furniture lines.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The new showroom will let us show the Craftmaster product in a better light with more space for the kind of room settings that dealers are accustomed to, and make the line more accessible to the mid-size and larger dealers that buy Universal,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Roy Calcagne, president. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153In fact, many of those dealers have already picked up Craftmaster \u00e2\u20ac\u201d our growth has been phenomenal this year.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
Amenities at the new showroom will include free breakfast, lunch and evening cocktails daily, as well as free parking. In addition, a free shuttle runs between downtown High Point and the Craftmaster Universal showroom.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The primary stop for our shuttle is on Commerce at Wrenn, but in case dealers are looking for us in our former space, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll have the van stop at the corner of Commerce and Main as well,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Trae Stokes, director of marketing. Dealers also can call (336) 861-7201 to request a pickup.<\/p>\n
Craftmaster offers custom order upholstery with more than 1,000 fabrics, as well as stationary leather upholstery and leather recliners. The company features about 120 living room styles and 110 occasional chairs, Stokes said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
