As of September, the Hickory operation had 341 employees.<br \/>\n                        <!--adsense--><br \/>\n\t\t <!--more--><br \/>\n The all-cash deal  was announced two weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p> Wachovia Securities assisted Furniture Brands in the process.<\/p>\n<p> Muscatine, Iowa-based HNI (NYSE: HNI) is an office furniture and fireplace manufacturer. Its brands include HON, Allsteel, Heatilator and Harman Stove.<\/p>\n<p> St. Louis-based Furniture Brands International Inc.
