The pending acquisition of a small Kansas office-furniture company gives Izzydesign a new brand to compete globally.<\/p>\n
The Spring Lake-based Izzydesign maintains the four niche brands now operating under Jami Inc. that produce a variety of seating products, tables and office systems for the corporate, health care and education markets.<\/p>\n
Maintaining the brand identity of each Jami unit follows the business model used by Izzydesign and its parent corporation, Grand Haven-based JSJ Corp.

\n“That lets successful brands thrive and grow around organizations with people who have the energy and vision to develop them for the future,” Izzydesign founder and CEO Chuck Saylor said.<\/p>\n
“Each brand has earned customer loyalty within its own market segment,” Saylor said of Jami. “We do not intend to change what is already working well.”<\/p>\n
Jami’s brands include Harter, Fixtures Furniture, Zoom Seating and ABCO.<\/p>\n
JSJ and Izzydesign signed a letter of intent late last month to acquire the Overland Park, Kansas-based Jami. The deal is expected to close this month, pending completion of due diligence.<\/p>\n
