{"id":785,"date":"2013-06-01T08:13:09","date_gmt":"2013-06-01T02:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/news\/2013\/06\/01\/sales-jump-83-for-top-100-in-05\/"},"modified":"2013-06-01T08:13:09","modified_gmt":"2013-06-01T02:43:09","slug":"sales-jump-83-for-top-100-in-05","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indonesia-furniture.com\/articles\/sales-jump-83-for-top-100-in-05\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales jump 8.3% for Top 100 in &#039;05"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Clint Engel<br \/>\nExclusive Research: Top 100 Furniture Stores<br \/>\nHIGH POINT\u00c2\u00a0&#8212; Furniture, bedding and accessories sales for the nation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s largest furniture stores jumped a healthy 8.3% last year despite a few multi-million-dollar hits taken by some of the biggest players.<br \/>\n                <!--adsense--><br \/>\nU.S. furniture sales for Furniture|Today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Top 100 grew to $29.2 billion in 2012, up from $27.0 billion for the same companies in 2004.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n The combined retailers grew their market share by two percentage points to 56%, reversing the market-share decline of last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Top 100 (which was down one point to 53%).<\/p>\n<p>This year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s group also reversed an odd turn last year when the Top 100\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s overall sales gain was outpaced by all U.S. furniture stores for the first time in the history of the report.
