Little Tikes sale complete

Newell Rubbermaid Inc. has sold the Little Tikes business unit to MGA Entertainment Inc. for an undisclosed sum, though the Atlanta-based Newell Rubbermaid expects a net gain of $15 to $25 million in the fourth quarter related to the transaction.

Little Tikes makes children’s toys, furniture and related items and had a 2012 revenue of $250 million, according to reports in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.


Newell Rubbermaid’s brands include Sharpie, Paper Mate, Waterman, EXPO, Rubbermaid, Calphalon, Graco, Goody, BernzOmatic, IRWIN and LENOX.
