Furniture consulting firm relocating to GSO

Sandgaard International, a Danish consulting firm with

a focus on a furniture and design firms, is relocating its U.S. corporate office from Atlanta to Greensboro, the company has announced.

The announcement did not say how many employees would move to the Triad to work in the new office on Airport Center Drive.

Company President Magne Sandgaard said that because his is a “small consulting firm operating across the Atlantic… it is crucial for us to be as close to our clients as possible.”

The Triad’s furniture cluster was an important lure for the company, Sandgaard said, as was the firm’s relationship with the N.C. Department of Commerce. The Triad’s size was welcoming, too, he added.

“Atlanta is too big for us, and the N.C. business environment and size are more familiar to us Scandinavian people,” he said.
