PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Gary Carmel has joined furniture manufacturer and distributor BnT Furniture

U.S.A. as vice president of sales and marketing.

Carmel, with more than 40 years of industry experience primarily in contemporary furniture, has been sales manager for Sharut Furniture, Designer Woodcraft and most recently Polaris Leather of Italy.
 
BnT is a manufacturer of contemporary chairs and tables from Turkey, as well as a distributor and sales agent for a Chinese upholstery factory.

The chair program, featuring dining and occasional chairs made of leather, metal and wood, has been shown in Milan, Moscow, Las Vegas and High Point.

Most of the leather pieces are warehoused at distribution centers in Canada and New Jersey. A West Coast facility is under consideration.
