Sketch of suspected furniture store robber released

Palm Springs Police released a sketch of the man suspected in a March 22 furniture store robbery.

Employees at Studio 111 were reportedly held at gunpoint as a white man, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, allegedly robbed the store. He was wearing a blonde wig and fake blonde mustache, according to the police department.

He also had an accent described as European, though the specific country was not known, the police department said.

Before leaving, the suspect allegedly duct taped employees’ hands and locked them in a bathroom.

No injuries were reported and the employees were freed by a customer who arrived five minutes later.

The suspect was last seen wearing a red shirt and a white baseball cap with an American Eagle store logo on it, according to a press release.
