Veteran retail expert, with a proven track record in
building retail icons, joins America’s largest household game and recreational-room specialty retailer
ALGONQUIN, Ill., April 9 /PRNewswire/ — Rec Room Furniture and Games, one of the largest specialty retailers with an exclusive focus on furnishing game and recreational rooms, today announced retail veteran Judy Ann Quye has joined the organization as President and COO. Bringing nearly 30 years of sales and operations experience at some of America’s best known apparel and hard-line retail organizations, Judy will be responsible for the execution of Rec Room’s planned national expansion.

Previously, Judy was at Tweeter Home Entertainment Group where she performed a comprehensive re-strategization of the 155 store chain, and achieved national recognition in 2013 as the top service provider of installed consumer electronics solutions. Before joining Tweeter, Judy held responsibility for 3100 Gap Inc. stores under the Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic brands where she collaborated with brand leadership and store design teams to accomplish store experience goals.
Prior to her executive management roles at GAP and Tweeter, Judy spent more than twenty years in roles of increasing responsibility at some of the largest brand-name retail organizations across North America, including: Target Corporation, Office DEPOT, and Gateway. Judy was a five-term board member at the University of Arizona’s Southwest Retail Center for Retailing and Consumer Sciences Education and Research, a SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) mentor and competition judge, and a founding member of the Women’s Philanthropy Fund of Orange County, California.
