Kaleidoscope Partnership expands services

Furniture Today
BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Kaleidoscope Partnership, a provider of sales training services to furniture retailers, is expanding its services into the manufacturing sector.

“As more and more manufacturers become marketing driven, they are looking for ways to add value to their key dealer partnerships,” said Leslie Carothers, TKP founder. “After receiving an endorsement of my sales training program last year by Hooker Furniture to their nationwide dealer base, I have seen how important it is for manufacturers to make sure they are reaching out to the retail sales consultant as effectively as possible at every contact point within their organization.” (Carothers also is a popular blogger on FurnitureToday.com’s Retail Ideas.  Click here to read her latest blog.)

TKP’s expanded services will include:

* Training sales representatives to interact more effectively with retail salespeople.

* Working with manufacturers to make their catalogs and Web sites easier to user by store salespeople.

* Conducting strategic overviews to answer the question, “How easy is it for the retail salesperson to interact with our organization at every level?”

* Holding focus groups with top-producing retail salespeople on behalf of the manufacturer.

* Designing custom sales training programs for key dealers.

* Speaking at dealer/vendor meetings about effective retail sales training, and writing blogs and other material for manufacturers’ Web sites that will help consumers shop for furniture more effectively with retail salespeople.
