BOCA RATON, Fla. — An affiliate of private investment firm Sun Capital has agreed to acquire the InterfaceFabric contract business from floor covering specialist Interface. Terms were not disclosed.

InterfaceFabric, based in Grand Rapids, Mich., is the largest U.S. commercial contract manufacturer of interior fabrics and upholstery product for the office furniture industry, as well as a provider of specialized automotive, health care and hospitality textiles.

In addition to InterfaceFabric, its brands include Guilford of Maine, Chatham, Teknit, Infinity and Terratex.
