LENOIR, N.C. — Broyhill Furniture Inds. has hired Don Webb to the newly created position of executive vice president of sales and merchandising.
Webb most recently was at Magnussen Home Furnishings, where he had been named vice president of sales for western North America in May. He will report to company President Jeff Cook, who was president and CEO of Magnussen Home before joining Broyhill in March.
Webb will be responsible for unifying Broyhill’s sales and merchandising efforts. He also will create a Center of Excellence that will develop products that respond to the needs of consumers and market trends.
“This trend-setting Center will spark a much-needed change in our industry has needed for a long time. We will focus on developing product that the consumer wants to buy as opposed to developing product that we want to sell,†Cook said.
