Will offer full, mixed containers

GALLATIN, Tenn. — Case goods manufacturer and importer Cresent Fine Furniture will open a warehouse in China to improve the flow of goods to dealers.

The facility will offer full and mixed direct containers, supplementing less-than-truckload shipments from its warehouse here, the company said.

Cresent said it would disclose details of the service at next week’s Las Vegas market, where it is showing for the first time in space 66458 at Mandalay Bay.

Director of Sales and Marketing Richard Tomkins said, “By offering multiple logistical options, we can create a best-fit strategy for each retail partner, rather than a one-size-fits-all scenario.”
