Durable Kitchen Countertop Material

There are a number of things to consider before choosing, buying, and installing a kitchen counter at home. Starting from the look, resistance to stains, duration of use, to the material for the kitchen table itself. Kitchen countertops come in a variety of materials, each with its own advantages. So, which is the best material for the kitchen table? Here are three durable kitchen countertop materials according to interior designers:

Quartz
Quartz kitchen countertops have their pros and cons. Quartz is great for utility, very durable, and resistant to stains. However, they are engineered materials because they are man-made and not all quartz is created equal. Some look very similar to natural stone, but some look like mold. In conclusion, the quartz countertop is stain-resistant and can last a long time even though the material is man-made.

Soapstone
Soapstone is two elements that are present due to the natural talc (clay mineral) in the stone. Soapstone is very durable and resistant to stains and heat. However, this material can darken from time to time.

Quartzite
Despite having the same name, quartzite is different from quartz. Quartzite is a natural stone material that can be an alternative to marble. However, when compared to marble, quartzite is more durable and not easily porous. Thus, quartzite is more resistant to stains and scratches.
