LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Industry veteran David Berg has joined DMI Furniture as managing director of Home Styles, Asia.


Berg was most recently global project coordinator with Lexington Home Brands, where he was responsible for global sourcing, product design and engineering, costing, sampling and production activities during his 16 years there.

He will live in Bangkok, Thailand, and will manage the Home Styles office and staff there. He also will be responsible for sourcing activities for Home Styles throughout Asia.

Berg reports to Bob Benton, executive vice president of operations for the Home Styles division and the commercial office division of DMI Furniture.

Home Styles is an importer and marketer of solid wood, ready-to-assemble kitchen, dining, bedroom and home office furniture and is part of DMI, a subsidiary of Flexsteel Inds.
