Berkline/BenchCraft hires Hale as COO

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — Jeff Hale has joined motion and stationary upholstery manufacturer Berkline/BenchCraft


as executive vice president of operations and chief operating officer. He succeeds Larry Musick, executive vice president of operations, who has retired after 39 years with the company.

“I appreciate Larry’s leadership, dedication, loyalty and commitment to the growth and success of the company and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years,” said President and CEO Bill Wittenberg.

Hale, most recently with Fidelity Investments Group in Cincinnati, has an extensive background in manufacturing, logistics and procurement. He previously held senior management positions with furniture manufacturer Dorel Inds., Honeywell and McDonnell Douglas.

Hale reports to Wittenberg, who called Hale “a key ingredient to our continued commitment to quality and value to our customers in the marketplace.”
