Rug producer begins search for CEO
Eric Birnbach has resigned his position as president and CEO of Capel Enterprises, a post which he held for almost a year.


During the past year, Capel has been successful in giving its showrooms a new look and energy. Capel’s Zip Ship program has been improved, as has the Capel Anywhere indoor/outdoor rug collection. Birnbach was helpful in making the transition to third generation management following the retirement of the three Capel brothers on October 1, 2012.

Bruce Hric, who has been the chief financial officer of Capel since 1998, has been appointed the acting CEO while a search is conducted to fill the position vacated by Birnbach.
