Bush to leave Tijuana plant

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Ready-to-assemble specialist Bush Inds. will not renew the lease of its Tijuana, Mexico components and finished goods plant, company officials said.

“The capacity of the Tijuana operation is no longer required given the capabilities of Bush’s Global Sourcing Group,” CEO James L. Sherbert said in a statement.

Operations at the factory will end by Nov. 30, the company said. The 220,000-square-foot plant was opened in 1991.Â
