New Creation Church of God, 3472 Lennon Road, will collect furniture from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday for victims of the Sept. 25 Boulder Creek Apartments fire.


A 24-foot truck will be parked next to the church, located just west of Miller Road, to receive furniture.

The church also has collected $400 so far to purchase food for the victims through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan when they return to their apartments.
