Donald Trump coming to market

Furniture Today,
THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Lexington will welcome real estate

entrepreneur and television personality Donald Trump to the High Point Market for the debut of the Trump Home, with two collections to be launched under the brand.

Westchester, with 32 SKUs, will offer grand classic styling that is opulently scaled. Designs were inspired by the mansions and historical properties restored by Trump.

Central Park reflects his metropolitan New York roots and his many properties in the city. The 35-SKU group offers a contemporary, clean take on cutting-edge designs, with Art Deco-influenced accents.

Trump Home will be at the upper end of the Lexington price range, according to the company. It will include bedroom, dining, home office, home entertainment and occasional, as well as upholstery.

“The Trump name has immediate global recognition for luxury and an upscale lifestyle,” said Lexington President and CEO Phil Haney. “The furniture collections in Trump Home — inspired by his properties around the world — allow more consumers access to this aspirational way of living.”

Trump said he was pleased to partner with the company.

“Lexington understands brands and high-end home furnishings, so this will be a fantastic partnership,” he said. “It’s a beautiful group of luxurious furniture at an affordable price. I have personally signed off on all of the designs and I wouldn’t have it any other way because my name is on the furniture. That’s what the Trump brand is all about, the very best products for a person who wants to live the very best lifestyle.”

Haney said Trump Home will have its retail debut this summer at Macy’s in New York.
