ATLANTA, June 7 (Reuters) – Furniture Brands International Inc. (FBN.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday backed its previous profit guidance for its second quarter and said sales were “slightly positive” compared with the year ago.
The St. Louis maker of Broyhill, Thomasville and other furniture brands said it expects earnings of 29 cents to 33 cents a share for the period,
including the effect of 3 cents of charges and 3 cents in increased interest expense.
