HIGH POINT — Showroom building owner Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. will present a furniture fashion runway show during the upcoming market here later this month.

The inaugural event, called Allure 06, will take place in the Century Courtyard of the Suites at Market Square at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 29, and is open to all marketgoers.
The latest fashions in seating, dining, lighting and accessories will be highlighted in this runway show hosted by Nancy Glass, an Emmy award-winning TV personality and currently a host on HGTV and satellite radio.

Suites at Market Square tenants who will participate in the fashion show include HauteHouse Home Furnishings, Cindy Ciskowski, Peninsula Home Collection Co., Excavo Furniture and Patagonia.

 Attendees can enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music following the fashion show.
