Santo Domingo.-
The National Furniture Association (Asonaimco) exhorted the national entrepreneurship to preserve the local industry given the imminent implementation of the Free Trade Agreement. 

Ricardo Koenig, representing Asonaimco, spoke in these terms during an act relative to International Furniture Expo 2013.  He called on all productive sectors of the country to consolidate the local industry. 

The Furniture Expo held during past week, was attended by prestigious national and international firms that exhibited their products and commercialized prominent brand names and articles made out of wood, metal, bamboo, rattan, plastic, synthetic and natural fibers for use outdoors, at home, the office, and in hotels.
