NEW YORK — Veteran retailing executive Steve Goldberg has joined retailer ABC Carpet & Home here as vice president, merchandising.

Goldberg most recently was chief merchandising officer for Le Gourmet Chef.

Prior to that he was president of the Bryland Home Lifestyles Group and earlier in his career was president of the home fashions group at Hanover Direct and later president of Hanover’s Domestications business.

He began his career at Allied Stores and later was with American Express Merchandise Services.

He reports to Paulette Cole, president and CEO.
