Hooker Furniture reduces bonus and increases salary for top execs

Hooker Furniture Corp. said in a regulatory filing Monday that Paul Toms Jr., its chairman and chief executive, got a $29,004 raise in salary to $279,001 in 2012.

But Toms’ bonus was decreased by nearly $100,000 to $85,873. Other top Hooker executives had a similar range in salary increases and bonus decreases.

Douglas Williams, the president and chief operating officer, had a $28,800 salary increase and a nearly $100,000 decrease in bonus to $85,873.
