Will focus on development of growth strategies

DES PLAINES, Ill. — Jeff Katz has joined upholstery and occasional producer Schnadig Corp. in the newly created position of vice president, corporate sales.

He will direct all sales management and sales representative activities, focusing on the development of growth strategies through independent and regional retailers. He will be based at Schnadig’s sales and merchandising office in High Point. 

Katz was senior vice president of sales and marketing at manufacturer Broyhill, and previously held executive merchandising posts at retailers HomeLife, Homemakers and Levitz.

At Schnadig, he reports to President and CEO Alan Cole.
